Using Cengage to complete homework assignments and
take online quizzes
Cengage is a relatively new system here at De Anza. We are converting from WileyPLUS to CengageNow, and phasing in the new system quarter by quarter. If you took Accounting 1A in the Fall 2011 quarter you would have used Cengage. If you took Accounting 1A at De Anza earlier than that you probably used WileyPLUS. (Accounting 1C is still using WileyPLUS this quarter but will use Cengage in the Spring)
You need two important numbers to use Cengage. 1. ACCESS CODE that comes with the textbook (or can be purchased online) AND 2. COURSE KEY for my (Scott Osborne’s) Winter 2012 Accounting 1B classes is E-2AA4VGQASQJPP.
Brand new students who have NEVER used Cengage click here for instructions on how to get started.
Once you are in Cengage, go to the upper right and corner of the screen and select “Tools” and “Run System Check” to make sure you have all proper plug-ins.
